Baby's Summertime Shirt

So last summer (Summer 2010), I started knitting and also completed two sweaters. I realized what I should start is a summer baby sweater tradition. I could either donate or sell these. I found a really cute and easy pattern that's knit in separate pieces. I'm working on the back now and it's up to 4" already just from this morning! It is bright yellow since it's still raining and a little stormy. So it'll be perfect for either a baby boy or girl, not sure if it's going to be a set yet-we'll see. It's an easy St St so I love it! More posts as I continue to knit this and of course photos!

Hi!

Well yes I haven't blogged in awhile, but I have a small chance to blog. I've been knitting like crazy on my blanket (and still not done argh!) I'm in the mood to work on it now, but then again not really. So I'm basically taking a small little break from it... but probably might knit something else for a HP class. I have a few knitted things in mind.

What's on my needles:
1.) Slytherin's Simple Green baby hat
2.) Christmas knitting (I know already!)
3.) The Olive Garden blanket (it is not binded off yet!)
4.) My Carrot Top (Mother & Daughter knitting.. my mom is making the same top as me.)

That's basically what sums up I'm currently knitting. Most of it is small projects besides the Olive Garden blanket.

My Fantasy Knitting:
1.) A sheep name Spud (after Spud and Chloe's yarn.): I'm starting this as soon as I'm finishing up the panda bear when I get home.)
There's a lot more but I can't think of anything at the top of my brain.

Baby Sock knitting

So yesterday I was searching for baby sock patterns! I am going to sell these once they come together, and I get the hang of the pattern. I also may be donating these (especially the first pair) unless I fix this mistake to Neighbors Helping Newborns. The mistake should be easy to fix... but we'll see haha. Anyways. I tried a first sock pattern, but the instructions were a little difficult to understand than the second pattern I'm trying out. I'm working on the instep now, and could finish this sock today (or finish the pair rather today yay!) I'll keep you updated!

Happy knitting!

Home!!

So I just got home yesterday around 10pm, so of course I didn't get a chance to blog. I hadn't really got any time knitting at the airport. I had a lot of delays in the travels-but I got where I needed to be-home safe and sound! Flights were okay, just long. I only just read and watched podcasts to pass the time on flights. Right now I'm also catching up with more podcasts, and knitting on Sophie's Spring Set [the baby hat]. I defiantly miss North Carolina! Good flying weather thankfully yesterday, but today is raining (little bit of stormy weather too-or looks like it!)

Anyways-that's really it for the details!

Baby Shower Gift Set Special-Post #3.

Baby Shower Gift Set Special
#3 Post: "Sneak Peak Part One!"
Okay, so I have been a bit busy. Like I've mentioned earlier I am finally home. Today is the first day of actually getting stuff done for the "Baby Shower Gift Set." So Post #3 is a sneak peak! In this post are the photos, but more photos are coming soon. Tonight or tomorrow I will be working out more details, such as measurements and descriptions. I finished up the baby girl's hat by attaching pigtails. I just have a couple of photo presentations before "Sneak Peak Part Two" comes along!

Knitting!

I feel like it's been a long time since I last posted, but then again it may have been a couple of days. Today was my first time getting back to knitting! It seemed strange, yet it felt so good to just pick up a set of knitting needles, and watch a project form right in front of my eyes. Knitting to me is a great stress relief and I can just go on and on about it. Ever since this past summer, more specifically since May 2010, I've been knitting for charity, for this organization-Neighbors Helping Newborns. From Neighbors Helping Newborns, my online shop is born, "Anna Elizabeth Designs." I am still knitting for them for Christian Service this semester as well. I also sell my knitting on www.etsy.com. I basically knit baby hats, baby sweaters, baby anything. My general area I mostly knit is baby hats (fast, quick, easy, and fun!) The links are below of where you can search my knitting items. Yes, I also do graphic works for these!
