North Carolina Shawl

So yesterday was a lot of fun... and only got few knitting done on my North Carolina shawl. It's not my 'baby' shawl any more! It's growing after each row I knit, and I'm still loving the pattern! I'm not sure how many inches it is right now-but I'll measure it either before I leave NC or after I get home. I'm curious to see how close I am to 30" (but I'm probably not even close... I'm guessing maybe 10 inches or less, we'll see). This pattern is making me love knitting shawls, super easy as I explained in my first post for North Carolina Shawl. This is just another update of how it's progressing. Possibly no photos until it's finished...

Good morning!! & socks!

I would say it's been awhile since I last posted about knitting. But hello again! I actually have few updates about knitting this week, since mainly it's been cleaning this week. I've only worked on two projects which is a second pair of socks and a prayer shawl. The first pair of socks, my "Spring Mist socks" are hibernating when it comes to Raverly terms-or could be frogged. However, I started my second pair of socks and it's going well so far. My first design for my second pair of socks didn't turn out so well.... so I restarted them on Wednesday night. I'm using very thin sock yarn so it'll take me awhile to actually finish the pair (if I get to that point).

Another thing, not sure if I'm going to be posting this week. My boyfriend is coming up to visit me, and I'm excited!!

Square Designs [Alex's blanket]

Well of course I've been busy knitting lately, so it's been awhile! So far I got a lot of squares done for Alex's blanket (my brother). I've completed Bowser, Princess Peach, and Boo. Yesterday I've spent all day knitting Boo, and didn't get that done until eight last night. I proved to myself I could get one of these squares done in a day, if I have enough patience that is! Over Christmas break I had worked on Bowser, then few weeks ago started and finished Princess Peach. I do have two more Super Mario characters left to do which are Goomba and Mario. But here are Bowser, Princess Peach, and Boo! Enjoy!

I've been waiting for this all semester (or it seems like), apparently I barely ran out of my Dad's yarn for my Dad's scarf.. so today I hope to get some more!! Let me hear ya say LU!!!

Yes I'm finally back at Liberty!!! It didn't fully kick in to realization until I was back on campus last night! I had a great Thanksgiving break, caught up with my knittings! They will be up on Etsy this week, got to choose which day to put them up there. Here's to be expecting: Two baby booties (they're so fun, quick and easy!), a "Victoria" headband, and the FIRST Christmas hat of the season!

It's that time of year again! Yes the font colors are now green and red, preparing for this upcoming Holiday Season 2010! I'm so very excited for new the holiday spirit! Apparently Blogger is being "Scrooge" because it's not allowing me change my layout to the Christmas season. However, font colors are not stopping me from sharing Christmas joy! I've created this graphic for my knitting business, "Anna Elizabeth Designs." To prepare for the holiday season, I've already knitted a pair of pink baby booties. I'm also starting another pair of baby booties as well. I have found a pattern over the summer I've fallen in love with this Thanksgiving break, it might be my signature style for awhile. Baby booties may be taking the spotlight this season, we will see, I'm still making baby hats! As far as Black Friday goes, I am sorry I have to close down the shop for awhile, but IT WILL BE BACK UP SOON! I PROMISE! Stay tune and become a facebook fan if you already haven't:
